The Kitchen Witch - A Whole New Blog with a Brand New Attitude

For those who don't already know, I have retired the "Maven" blogs as a way of being personally authentic and exploring new interests and avenues opening in my own life.

As such, I've come up with a concept for the next stage in my blogging evolution.

With all pursuits in life, a love for what we're doing and an excitement for what might be created has to be present in order for a journey to continue with heart.

So, without further ado, I am happy to unveil what comes next...

***

The Kitchen Witch is a personal narrative lifestyle, food, and decorating blog that is devoted to the magic of taking inexpensive everyday ingredients and turning them into something beautiful - all the while examining the experiences in our lives and how they can be healed or celebrated through ritual and connection.

It's a blog about transformation, learning, and noticing.

Laundry on the line, the first flowers of spring, the smell of baking bread.

Lyndsay Wells is a home cook, old soul, and lover of all things beautiful on a mission to learn more about happiness and healing through, food, friendship, connections, and the creation of recipes infused with love.

Within the walls of her cozy kitchen The Kitchen Witch will get back to the basics of cooking with the realization that grandma had great recipes and that the church cookbook you have kicking around from 1972 is full of wisdom and delicious ideas.

She is also not too proud to admit that there will be ingredients like Cream of Mushroom Soup, canned tuna, and Velveeta cheese interspersed with a regular fare of fresh produce and local ingredients.

This is on purpose and congruent with Lyndsay's fervent belief that the best things in life marry the past, present, and future in a harmony of understanding and flavour.

*disclaimer*

The Kitchen Witch is an admitted Food Network junkie, and may post the occasional blog about her love for Diner's Dive Ins and Dives, Top Chef, and Next Food Network Star. As such, expect blogs where Maven goes kamazee on the recipes of well known chefs and gives her honest opinion of how they turned out.

It should as well be duly noted that, while on her journey toward enlightenment, The Kitchen Witch may occasionally vent about the man she married - Pool Boy.

So join Lyndsay on The Kitchen Witch to celebrate food, family, life, love, and the rituals that make it all worth while.

Why?

Because, even as we move forward, it's still A Fabulously Good Life!
