Hey everyone!
There are so may exciting things happening in the world of The Kitchen Witch this week!
We'll kick it off tomorrow with another installment of How a Pork Tenderloin Saved My Life! - an ongoing blog saga recounting my experiences in the world of cooking contests and my cream cheese infused dreams of culinary fabulosity!
I'll be following that up Thursday with a fun blog featuring spaghetti and family dysfunction.
Pray for me that The Man I married keeps the divorce papers securely locked up.
Friday will be all about Amanda Fitzpatrick and the Cherry Hill blog series. Without giving too much away, let's just say Amanda gets a run for her money with a certain Mr.Wilson - the inebriated husband of our own Mrs Wilson of the Protestant Ladies Association in 1947 Cherry Hill Saskatchewan!
I have lots more planned for the weekend but until then, let's get started on the most exciting news of the day! A video blog for my brand new recipe for Bacon and Mushroom Stuffed Chicken Bundles and an awesome giveaway!!!
Boneless, skinless, slow roasted chicken breasts are butterflied and stuffed with a savoury blend of bacon, caramelized onion and mushrooms, then drizzled with an unctuous buttery sherry au jus just because.

That ought to be illegal it looks so delicious. Bacon in or on anything is a winner for me. I had been meaning to drop by and tell you I appreciate your very nice comments :-0
ReplyDeleteI can not enter your giveaway as my crappy internet connection doesn't allow videos without serious frustration. But good luck to all who participate!!
Thank you so much Pierce! It was lovely to see you here :-)
DeleteUnctuous....oh ya!!!! Looks delicious.
ReplyDeleteIt truly was :-)
DeleteHang in there--I'm going to post The Baker's (my husband) recipe for the pineapple-upside-down cake soon.
ReplyDeleteI'm with Pierce, bacon can do no harm!
Best,
Bonnie
I can't wait for that recipe!!
DeleteLindsey, your chicken looks fabulous and how fun to see you on the video, you are such a natural at this! I do have to say that this looks more like a fancy company dinner than weeknight fare! I'll come to your house for dinner any day of the week!
ReplyDeleteMy door is always open :-)
DeleteBacon AND mushrooms how can you go wrong! Please share this recipe on my foodie friday linky today.
ReplyDeleteHi Lyndsay,
ReplyDeleteYour video presentation of the Bacon and Mushroom Stuffed Chicken was amazing, it is a winner! I am "charmed"! Hope you are having a great week end and thank you so much for sharing with Full Plate Thursday.

Oh my, this looks amazingly delicious! What an elegant dish! I have found that the best way to get my teenage son to eat "grown up" food is to add bacon. :)
ReplyDeleteI've seen in Oregon doughnuts with bacon, and they tasted good (I heard), so bacon makes anything taste better! :) Perfect chicken!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!
ReplyDeleteYour recipe is featured on Full Plate Thursday this week. Hope you have a wonderful week end and enjoy your new Red Plate!
Come Back Soon,
Miz Helen
Love this recipe and am looking forward to making it! One comment, when looking at your printable recipe I believe there's a typo with mushrooms listed twice. I assume the second "mushroom" ingredient should be onions?
